Richland High School Technology Student Association competed at the Pennsylvania State Technology Student Association competition held from April 17, 2024, to April 20, 2024, at Seven Springs.
The Richland Junior and Senior High School Chapters took 28 members to the conference and were awarded 3 state champions.

Martha Ringler, a local teacher from Richland High School, has been selected as an NEH Summer Scholar from a national applicant pool to attend one of 43 summer teacher workshops supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities. The Endowment is a federal agency that, each summer, supports these enrichment opportunities at colleges, universities, and cultural institutions so teachers can study with experts in humanities disciplines and strengthen place-based humanities teaching.

Congratulations to the students and staff at Richland High School as the U.S. News and World Report released their annual rankings of the best schools in the country.
We are excited to announce that Richland High School was ranked: #1 in Cambria County for the seventh consecutive year #2 in the IU8 Region (35 schools)
The Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center is closed for the remainder of the day and all students have been safely returned to their home school districts.
A carbon monoxide alarm sounded, the building was immediately evacuated, and the Richland Fire Department is onsite. All students, tenants, and staff are safe. Students have been sent back to their home schools and tenants and staff sent home.
GJCTC will post a notification when it is safe to return to the building.
